By providing students with the tools they need to manage stress, building strong relationships with caring adults, and ensuring timely access to counseling and supportive services, we can better support the mental well-being of all students.

To ensure all students and their families feel safe and included, we must create a district culture rooted in respect, equity, and inclusivity. This involves implementing cultural competence and humility training for staff, developing inclusive curricula, and establishing clear policies against discrimination.

Recruiting and retaining staff, especially staff of color, requires a commitment to competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a positive working environment, with opportunities for growth. We need to create pathways for career advancement, provide mentorship opportunities, and cultivate a school culture that values diversity and inclusion.
