Talitha
Mahome
Here is some info shared by this candidate regarding working with school community stakeholders:
Parents and parent groups play a crucial role in the education system, and their input is invaluable in ensuring that the curriculum reflects the needs and values of our community. I believe it’s important to have structured channels for parents and local community members to voice their opinions, to foster dialogue between educators and families. I will work to keep the lines of communication open, regularly updating constituents on board actions and inviting community input.

Here is some info shared by this candidate regarding working with school community stakeholders:
I think the most important thing is to be available. I live in the district and am always engaging with the people I meet. Also, I think we should have more times that we can just meet with groups and engage in solid conversations outside of board meetings. But, in todays digital age I think we have to use the digital landscape to ask questions of our stakeholders, and then follow through by trying to find the best possible solution that takes into account their input.
