Here is some info shared by this candidate regarding working with school community stakeholders:

To engage parents in the community, I would have office hours/coffee with me, where parents could come and speak directly to me and express any concerns they may have. I know at board meetings, you can't directly address any one board member, and often times, the members are busy after the meeting. I believe that having the opportunity to speak to these members directly would be more helpful.
