I would engage parents, caregivers, community members, and students by fostering open communication through focus groups, surveys, and inclusive committees. Prioritizing transparency and actively seeking input from all stakeholders, will ensure that decisions around curriculum, budgeting, and district policy reflect the diverse needs and perspectives of our school system, leading to equitable outcomes for all students.

My thoughts go to a portion of our mission statement "To create an inclusive learning community that provides the best academic and social experience...". Our community thrives on the environments we create. To improve Black student achievement, we must continue to work within our educational goals, and provide every opportunity possible. I'm proud of the work our Superintendent has put forth, and I am proud of my colleagues.
